where I come from... and where I'm going

... suburbia.
... a place where there was green grass to play in and grandma's house was only a short walk away.
... a family with a mom and dad who worked hard to provide, and a little sister to both play with and provoke.
... a happy childhood filled with holiday traditions and frequent dance parties.

... the land of hippies and hillbillies, in the heart of the blue ridge mountains.
... the place where I met and married the love of my life.
... the valley where my faith grew stronger and my dreams got bigger.
... years of "firsts" and new beginnings.

... a home on the open water.
... the time for dreams to be realized and adventures discovered.
... the place where fears will be conquered and spirits will be tested.
... where the future is unclear, and yet brighter than ever.
